The Limestone Coast Landscape Board in partnership with the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board and National Parks & Wildlife Service (Murraylands) are seeking to control foxes and feral goats and eradicate wild dogs and feral deer from the Ngarkat area.

The Limestone Coast Landscape Board would like to invite landholders with properties adjoining the Ngarkat Conservation Park and the surrounding area to sign up their properties to the Ngarkat Pest Animal Control Program (the Program).

The Program, which is free for participating landholders provides practical support to reduce the economic burden of controlling these pests.

The Program includes two pest animal control projects which are set to be undertaken this autumn and completed by June 2024:

  • Ngarkat feral goat and deer aerial shooting operation (up to four days from 23-26 May 2024)
  • Free fox baits for landholders

If you are interested in signing your property up to either or both projects, please fill in the Landholder Agreement below.

Additionally, if you are seeking to be involved in the aerial culling, please read the Ngarkat Feral Goat and Deer Aerial Shooting Information for Landholders under key resources on this page.
