Wattle Range Area Landholder Agreement

The Limestone Coast Landscape Board is providing practical support to landholders to increase the scale and intensity of feral deer shooting operations with the aim of eradicating feral deer from the region to protect agriculture, biodiversity and improve public safety. This agreement allows property access for professional contractors engaged by the Limestone Coast Landscape Board to undertake feral deer ground shooting.

Limestone Coast Landscape Board Feral Deer Ground Shoot Landholder Agreement

The Limestone Coast Landscape Board will:

  1. Incur all costs associated with the ground shoot from March to April, 2023.
  2. Obtain relevant approvals and coordinate landholder communications.
  3. Supervise shooting operations in accordance with approved plans, codes of practice and animal welfare standards.
